At Gold Coast Women’s Health, we actively support medical students and registrars as they navigate through the challenging but exhilarating journey to becoming a general practitioner.  

Working at our practice, you will gain insight into specific women’s needs such as contraception advice, contraceptive devices and procedures, sexual health and cervical screening, antenatal and postnatal care, fertility and family planning, perimenopausal and menopausal management.  

Additionally, within our network of supervisors, we have a collection of knowledgeable and experienced general practitioners, RACGP examiners, ECT visitors, and academics who all assist in preparing registrars for their examinations. 

In addition to practice teaching, we conduct quarterly registrar seminars which provide the opportunity to learn from fellow registrars and newly fellowed general practitioners, and we are focused on the clinical and non-clinical aspects of being a GP.
